Bronzed Cowbird
Plumage/Description: Bronzed Cowbirds have an overall stocky appearance.
Brown Creeper
Plumage/Description: Long, thin curved bill for probing in bark. White throat, breast and belly, with buffy under-tail coverts.
Brown-headed Cowbird
Plumage/Description: Males have an iridescent quality to their plumage.
Bullock’s Oriole
Plumage/Description: Males are brilliant black, orange and white in color.
Bushtit
Plumage/Description: Males and females have similar plumage but can be distinguished by the color of their iris—males is dark, females’ is light colored.
Calliope Hummingbird
Plumage/Description: Our smallest hummingbird in North America.
Canyon Towhee
Plumage/Description: Overall a gray-brown bird, with a slight touch of Rufous on the crown of the head, and under the tail.
Canyon Wren
Plumage/Description: Gray head, white throat, and a rich Rufous color on belly, wings, back, and tail.
Cassin’s Finch
Plumage/Description: Male plumage is striking in good light.
